as the crow flies so flies the crow
and as the tree cries so croaks the sow
the horse, the rook
the cat, the plough
that tills the earth
till all is told and drained
from soil dried by thousand years of rain.
as the sky bursts so breaks the sky
as the cat snores so leopards lie
in trees tied up with vines
and creepers creeping in between the leaves.
